Description

The Cinephiliacs is a podcast exploring the past and future of cinephelia. Film critic Peter Labuza has interviewed critics, programmers, academics, filmmakers, and more about their relationship to film and film culture. Additionally, each guest will bring in a particular favorite film and discuss it with Labuza. Indiewire declares, "If you want to hear film critics talk at length about their craft, there are few better places on the Internet" and Keyframe Daily has called it "Exhibit A" for the future of film culture

Customer Reviews

It's very good

The Cinephiliacs is a very good podcast that should be enjoyable to anyone who is a cinephile or anyone interested is criticism/analysis. The show is well structured, the host is competent and the guest are interesting. The audio quality could be improved. Overall a very good show. I will continue to listen to and I hope it gets better.

Made for Me

I just discovered the show not so long ago and I am really glad I did. Combining elements of a interview and a review show, the podcast works to help enlighten the listeners on the guests life and how many ways one can learn to love movies. The guests have different paths and want to accomplish different things with their careers, but the same starting question gets them and the host Peter to a solid story. I am not near experienced enough to be a guest on the show but I am able to connect with any person on the show because of our common passion of loving film.
