Great

I really enjoy Matt and Adam’s banter, but I also like listening to people discuss films even if their opinion are different from my own. Matt in particular can be harsh about films/TV he dislikes, so if you are very sensitive and only want to hear people who agree with you, be wary. Aside from that, if you love discussing film and TV, and hearing some of the “inside baseball” of how the industry works, this is really engaging.

I'd listen to this like car talk

Honestly, wish these guys had a call in. It's a great podcast and if you read the site/ are interested in movie it's really enjoyable. I listen in the car and find myself disagreeing/agreeing/commenting out loud all the time. Feels like your a part of the conversation

Negative? Yes...but positive as well. It's called honesty.

I really like The Collider Podcast. While it's true that Adam and (especially) Matt can be negative, they also have their fair share of positive things to say about the movies they discuss. On occasion they even outright rave about a movie they particularly like (Mad Max: Fury Road, Ex Machina, and Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation spring immediately to mind).

I appreciate that Matt and Adam always express their honest opinions, free of sugar coating. While I don't always agree with what they have to say, I can almost always see where they're coming from (the biggest exception being Ex Machina; I'll never understand the bonkers nonsense praise they heap on that mediocre film, pretty though it may be) and I always value their perspective.
