Great for adults with add/adhd and ppl in a relationship or family with one
I’m 26 years old and was diagnosed when I was 11 years old.. for some reason after I graduated college , I thought I outgrew my ADD so I stoped meds and seeing a organizational coach... well I was more then okay for 2&1/2 years .. bc I kept a routine I check .. once I was the project manager of a few Long Island based medical companies and then started my own medical practice to keep doctors from getting owned by big hospitals ( doing great btw) but I moved in with my boyfriend at the same time and this past year I can safely say I have not outgrown my ADD . This describes so many aspects of add and the real side not just the typical text book! I highly recommend
Great way to learn about ADHD
I am was diagnosed over 10 years ago and have been working on my ADHDness ever since. I have made much progress by both working in group with fellow ADHDers and in learning about the condition through self education. This podcast combines both group and educational aspects of learning into a powerful way of gaining new insights about myself and learning new techniques to better manage with. Give it a listen if you even suspect you are one of us. You will most certainly learn something.
A Different Take
I love the idea of this show. It's informative and entertaining. Giving you a very real picture of what it's like to live with ADHD and what's it like to not have ADHD but live with others who do. This is a different format of podcasting. It tells a story and teaches you at the same time. I highly recommend his book, Focus Forward too!
