“People who say they go to religious services weekly are probably lying”: Cultural Christianity and the power to change culture
According to Gallup, about three in four Americans identify with a specific religious faith, and 21 percent of us say we attend religious services every week. However, the data says otherwise. The story raises a cultural question: Why would so many people claim to attend religious services so much more often than they actually do? Religiosity does not have the power to transform lives, but being in relationship with our Creator does.

How to buy happiness
Most of us understand that giving in to negative emotions does little to make our lives better. That knowledge doesn’t make resisting them easy, but it should serve as a good reminder that when we worry about things beyond our control, we compound the problem by wasting our most precious resource: time. Fortunately, that doesn’t have to be the case and Christ gives us a good example of a better path.

The comedian and abortion advocate Bill Maher made headlines this week when he admitted that abortion “kind of is” murder. Maher’s honesty exposes the deepest fault line in American culture, between those who consider life to be inherently sacred and those who consider it to be an instrumental means to other ends. There is no more urgent battle for the minds of Americans than this.

Customer Reviews
Every day
I try to listen every day after my Bible reading. This helps put world news into perspective for me. Fantastic resource!
Essential Perspectives
After hearing Dr Denison speak years ago I was thrilled to learn of Denison Forum/Ministries online and in podcasts to help me discern truth in this blatantly broken world. I consider The Daily Article as essential reading/listening to arm myself in speaking truth in love. It would be mandatory curricula if I taught seminary! And I do use it regularly when teaching Bible Study. Thanks for all the effort and prayer that produces it.
