Coming to you from the vast and windy plains near Hebron, North Dakota, this is an explorative journey into life in small towns and midwestern dreams of big time high school basketball. I'll bring you real stories from real people in small towns of North Dakota and South Dakota and the upper midwestern United States. Who are we in these small northern towns and what's this fascination with getting to the state tournament all about. Interviews, storytelling and more.

Good commentary on small town life

Great podcast, and I'm not even a basketball fan! Always want to know more about the state I now happily call home, North Dakota

insight into the simpler things

gives great insight into the simpler things in the rural midwest, definitely a fascinating culture shock for those of us in the cities. truly shows how life can be so different for those who regard basketball as life. this podcast has great voice, intriguing interviews, and a unique personal commentary!

This is great and I don't *do* sports. It makes me remember the time it seemed my whole father's side of the family came to Bismarck for the Class B tournament when I was in grade school and I got to skip class and go with them. Up until that point it was biggest thing I'd ever attended, I still remember how palpable the excitement was, and how I myself got completely caught up in it.
