Really grabbed me.

It’s hilarious to me when I read some of the reviews from people who are upset that this work isn’t “real”. I supposed they’ll be extremely disappointed as well when they pick up work by a fellow named Poe, or Conan Doyle. <<shrug>>

If you go along for the ride and try not to guess the end (which, who DOES that??), you will most definitely enjoy the journey with this one. The story is set in real locations with real people, and could happen anywhere. It’s a great premise, I really enjoyed Season 1, and can’t wait for Season 2. Excellent work!

This is an awesome AUDIO FICTION

It’s amazing how foolish all these people who gave this podcast 1 star because it sounded “too scripted” There is great voice acting, intriguing storylines and very realistic. I’m a big fan of Dan Zapula from the NoSleep podcast. I knew his other work would be top notch!

Poor payoff and not a great storyline either.

The benefit true crime stories have is that they can have an anticlimactic ending, or what seems to be a sloppy storyline- because it’s true crime and life is never neatly written.

This story should not be afforded that luxury. What the heck? An entire episode about how Melissa grew up with an overly competitive father, and a sister she completely cut out of her life- there’s no payoff there either. You over discuss the smell of the medicine john Parker takes, and you can’t record what he and Melissa try to tell you when you reveal he’s only faked his death from his entire family???! This could have been so much better.
In the “ epilogue” you discuss how you’re going to explain everything in a few minutes- this isn’t the Black tapes, explain it now. And whatever explanation you give doesn’t make sense. Melissa and john are mad at “ the kids????” Are you out of your mind? You can’t decide whether to make them cold and aloof parents who neglected Rachel, or deeply caring parents trying to keep a secret from her. Nora was a weird red herring and Melissa is awful. I’m trying to find ways to constructively criticize so you can be better- making the payoff of this murder mystery, that there wasn’t any murder, just cruel parents felt poorly devised. It was as if you stumbled through this production and didn’t have any sort of story outline laid out before you.
