I’m an old-school Dungeon Master running his two girls and their mom through dungeon crawls using Labyrinth Lord. It can be funny at times, but the frustration of herding cats is there. In this case, female cats who had never played D&D until I broke out my RPG books. The Delvers is an actual play edited recording of our Labyrinth Lord sessions.

AP goodness!

Give it a listen! It's roleplayers having fun, edited for your enjoyment. Love the short format, but wish there were more.

Thumbs up to all three of the players - and the gm isn't bad either :)

Entertaining DnD play

An experienced DM runs his campaign for his girlfriend and her two daughters. Their personalities and sibling dynamics with each other are great. 3 distinct characters you get to know.

I found this podcast a few months ago and have listened to it slowly only because it was such fun to listen to. I recently caught up to current air date and am excited to hear the next one.

The Tomb of Horrors was an especially good episode to listen to since I just finished reading Ready Player One. Good learning experience for Sue DMing and nice motivational talk from Kay.

Nice work guys. Keep it up for a long time.

Brings back good memories of those early DnD games

I really like this podcast. It's just a simple recording of a family playing a campaign, but it's fun to listen to. The recording is cleaned up, edited a little, and a few sound effects added here and there, but for the most part it's as though you're sitting there watching the game unfold. The Podcaster's daughters are two of the players, and listening to them get nervous as they encounter something unknown, or more often hearing them plan a way to defeat the latest monster or trap (and succeeding!) brings back memories of playing the game back when it was still new to me.
For what it's worth, listening to these episodes had made me want to break out some old DnD modules again.
