Clark Ashton Smith...Out of Lovecraft's Shadow
Finally a podcast that brings artist, poet and fiction writer Clark Ashton Smith out of the Lovecraft Circle shadow. The first episode does an excellent job of featuring the interesting life of a man many people miht just consider one of Lovecraft's friends. However Clark Ashton Smith was so much more than just a Lovecraft associate.
Like other weird fiction podcasts ,The HP Lovecraft Literary Podcast or A Podcast to the Curious (M.R. James), The Double consists of a panel of fans giving careful, yet fun insights into the author and their works. The panels love of weird fiction and research skills are clear that their podcast is a labor of love.
Weird fiction fans...give The Double Shadow a try. It is certainly worth the listen.
Clark Ashton Smith gets his time to shine
Like many people, I heard about Mr. Smith thru learning about H.P. Lovecraft. I became curious and I wanted to find out more about Mr. Smith and this podcast delivers! The podcasters deliver information without being boring and the audio is well recorded. Nothing worse than listening to a poorly recorded podcast and I'm happy to say this is not the case.
I look forward to each new episode so keep them coming! Great job guys and Cthulhu Chick!
You're doing some important work
I've always been aware of Clark Ashton Smith, but this podcast is teaching me just how interesting and important Mr. Smith is to Weird Fiction. Fantastic work, one and all!
