Description

The Fail Safe podcast explores how today’s most successful writers grapple with and learn from creative failure. From the blank page to the broken sentence, we examine the many challenges and pitfalls of the literary life and discover how authors transform false starts, dead ends, and assorted blunders into works of literary genius. Produced collaboratively by draft: the journal of process and The Iowa Writers’ House, The Fail Safe provides encouragement for anyone who’s ever wanted to write and pulls back the curtain on the creative process for a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the writer-at-work.

Inspiring for Writers and All Creatives

Love the concept of this podcast - celebrating failure and its role in the creative process instead of being afraid of it. Really enjoyed the first chat with Garth Greenwell and looking forward to future episodes!

Great for writers and all who create

Yoder does a great job interviewing book authors, in this case Garth Greenwell. She asks probing questions, which really helps bring out the details of the creative process, and the fact that if you write, you're going to fail at some point. The podcast is very well produced, making it easy to listen to. Looking forward to more episodes!
