Life changing

I’ve probably written three reviews total in my life. I always mean to but never seem to remember...but now I know why. I started listening to this podcast on an 800+ mile road trip, I listened to a few episodes and then to the audiobook before I reached my destination. I cried a lot. I’m 29. I’ve struggled endlessly with ADHD and I had no idea. While I was out visiting friends and family my months long brain fog started lifting and the wheels started turning on what I needed to do when I got back home. On the drive home I used Siri to dictate notes and make lists, and when I got home that next morning I was out of bed at 6am (4-6 hours earlier than normal), and started taking on the task of eating the elephant one bite at a time. I cleaned my apartment, I threw stuff out, I got a computer(always was meaning to, just got too overwhelmed by the process and I couldn’t decide what to get and I’d walk out of the store with a new soundbar or an Apple watch or something totally different), and I made a google calendar. I scheduled all the writing and researching, reading, and working out I wanted to do but could never seem to focus on. I’m on day 3 of this new life of managing what I now know is ADHD and I have never felt this clear. It’s weird. I feel calm and relaxed but I’m constantly busy and engaged. Shouldn’t I be worn out? In addition to other things I have already learned and tried, Peter Shankman and guests have given me the tools to be my best. His positivity about ADHD and his simple solutions to handle the negative aspects make me feel confident that I can manage brain, and it’s equally important to me that I don’t feel like a loser, or an idiot, or that there is something seriously wrong with me. This is a gift. Thanks for helping me get my life back. I hope with one on one support of my long term therapist, some friends, and this podcast that I can maintain the happiness and contentment I pieced together during those 1600 miles on the road listening to you. Thank you for giving back!

Insightful interview with Marvin

I just discovered this podcast. Parents and teachers need to listen to successful people gifted with ADHD and how they cope with the rest of us who can’t keep up with them.

Wow! Best ever interview with Tony Robbins

Peter Shankman you are always terrific and this interview was the best ever - you were truly in your element and he gave such inspiration and encouragement as always! Definitely a must listen over and over again.
