The Film Experience is amazing, plain and simple.
Honestly, I can't recommend The Film Experience, as a whole, enough: it is easily my favorite film/cinema-related website and this podcast is an awesome way to be introduced to it! Nathaniel and all of his guests (like Katey, Joe, Nick, etc.) are all incredibly funny, thoughtful, and truly a pleasure to listen to their insightfulness about film and the new releases coming out each year: I can't begin to say how their thoughts and discussions have lead to so many new films that I can now happily include as a part of my own cinematic vocabulary, and to the many new experiences they've lead me toward in understanding and watching movies.
While I wish that episodes of the podcast were released on a more regular basis, I can't complain for the quality and enjoyment that I get out of each episode when they DO arrive, so make sure to listen to one of the best movie-related outlets that the Internet has to offer, and to check out The Film Experience for all of the amazing articles and writing that it offers and keeps me coming back to literally every day.
THANK YOU NATHANIEL!, and keep up the awesome work on the podcasts =)
Awards and Actresses. Repeat.
While this podcast is a little on the low budget side (you often hear people join on Skype) that doesn’t change the fact that Nathaniel Rodgers leads a great group of film and TV critics who just want to talk about beautiful women and the awards they deserve. Joe Reid is a favorite of mine from his Extra Hot Great podcast while Nick Davis and Katey Rich are both excellent additions. This film criticism is always on point and witty. It’s also the only place where you will regularly hear someone curse the name of Mercedes Ruehl. So there’s that.
