Strong Out the Gate

Some quality information provided in this podcast's first episode. Wasn't surprised to hear that Well's initial gains in the industry were accelerated by his early adaptation of the RED digital camera. Crazy, though, how fortunate his decision seems in hindsight. It was nice listening to a passionate, self-taught guy's path to success.

Also--weird coincidence--I took AP environmental science in Miami, FL around the same time... hmmm.

Fun interview!

I enjoyed the insight Frank Serafine offered in this new podcast series for aspiring film makers wanting to break into the business. It's terrific the generosity of those who've made it in the industry to share how they got their first breaks; how they continue their success; and ways others might want consider to get their "first break."

There are plenty of sources on the internet with interviews with the actors but few to none (until I found this podcast series) that talks with folks behind the camera doing the work of sound, visuals, technology, etc. and how they got into the business and what keeps them motivated and successful.

Great Stories

I enjoyed learning from the guest and learning about their journey from start to stardom. This show has potential and I look forward to more to come.
