Customer Reviews

Educate, don't hate.

"It just didn't click with me." "It just wasn't good." "I didn't like the original story, and I knew I wouldn't like the movie." This is about the depth of review in this podcast.
A. Who has 30 minutes to kill before they even talk about the main movie of the podcast?
B. If you didn't like (or liked) a movie, give specific, thoughtful reasons why. WHY didn't the story work? Break it down logically. Every +++hole has an opinion.
C. Monologues aren't exciting to listen to. Make it more conversational and stop trying to be witty. Just be.

When a great but uneven podcast

This a great and often incredibly insightful look into current popular films. I usually save the podcast and listen to it after I’ve watched the movie, it it also works if you just enjoy hearing people review a film you are about to see. The only problem is that some of the guest reviewers make the podcast uneven and sometimes unlistenable (eg the guest on the Creed 2 episode didn’t even sound like he saw the movie, he was just your typical hate everything/hypocrite, none of the Ready Player One reviewers knew anything about the source material). Check it out, you just might have to skip some.

Favorite ep ever Creed 2

I love these guys - but they have tended to pat each other on the back and generally remain agreeable. Finally some conflict. This made for an excellent episode. Kudos to guest director Joseph Kahn for not only disagreeing, also rationalizing his opinions. Loved it!!!
