Description

Our idea is to provide another avenue that we can add more value to our community and to cover more ground than we’re often able to do in a text-based blog post. The Insurance Pro Blog was originally launched in the summer of 2011 as a way to debunk myths and false teachings offered by much of the financial press as it relates to life insurance. Our goal with the Financial Procast is to add on to the conversation regarding all things life insurance, annuities, and finance but also to open up our conversation to other financial related topics. In writing articles or blog posts, sometimes it can be difficult to help you connect all the dots. What do we mean? Well…an article or post is typically limited to an isolated topic, just because nobody wants to read a whole book every time they visit our site. But our hope with the podcast is that we can take some of the concepts we discuss and tie them in to “real life” scenarios that will help paint a clearer picture to our audience. Our sincere hope is that you will listen regularly, make suggestions, and send us your questions. We are open to discussing any topic related to personal finance and welcome our audience to participate in the discussion. Your comments and questions will help us cover what’s most relevant and interesting to you, so please email us to give us feedback!

Not your Grampa's Financial Radio Show

I'm a huge fan of podcasts, and when my husband and I decided it was time to get serious about our finances I figured what better approach than to start adding financial podcasts to my morning commute rotation.

What seemed like a good idea quickly turned my long 45 minute commute into work each morning into a bit of a drag. Most financial podcasts, it turns out, are dreadfully boring--maybe that's just because a graphics artists like me prefers way too much flare in her life.

Never one to give up, I decided to do some more digging and stumbled upon this episode called Dollar Dollar Coin's Y'all from something called the Financial Pro Cast. Hahahahahah! Is all I can say. I was hooked.

These two take some of the most dull subject matter and make it at least entertaining to hear about. I love their somewhat abrasive personalities when it comes to finance, and how they don't apologize for some of the things the rest of us dislike about their industry.

The other thing I love about these two is that they can be incredibly sophisticated. I've personally contacted them with a few questions about general finance subjects and was blown away by the fact that not only did I receive a reply, but that I received an incredibly detailed reply.

I didn't know it was possible to laugh while learning about finance, but I seriously thank these two for making that happen.

Finally a Financial Podcast

I have been searching for a financial podcast that really connects with me! Thanks Brandon & Brantley for all the great information.

This podcast is a MUST listen for ALL Entrepreneurs…seriously!

Team B&B really bring the heat in this podcast that is on a topic that Entrepreneurs NEED to focus on…Finance. Thanks guys!
