Customer Reviews

If you are into cycling then this is your podcast.

I noticed there are no reviews yet...I am sure it has to do with the fact that David recently "upgraded" his podcast to an enhanced show. I am honored to be the first to declare my affection for this awesome podcast...seriously, it is something that I look forward to every week. If cycling plays a role in your life -- lover of the sport, commuter, weekend distance rider, Triathlete, touring cyclist, the list goes on -- I can honestly say you will eat this podcast up. What is the Fredcast? Well, it is the "all you need to know" weekly source of biking info...a veritable "one stop shop" of cycling data. Pro cycling news, info from the cycling community around the U.S. and the world, opinion pieces, gear reports, interviews, stories about rides, etc. all delivered by David, the well spoken, well informed, and gracious host (and "labor of love" producer) of the Fredcast. I am telling you, if you ride go ahead and hit the subscribe won't be sorry.

My favorite!

I subscribe to several cycling podcasts, but the FredCast is my favorite. The enhanced version is even better than the original because you can easily back up to a specific segment, and even see photos of what's being described. I'm not a tech geek, but I do love to ride my road bike. I'm primarily a recreational rider --a fair-weather bike commuter, and I ride about a half dozen charity rides and centuries a year. I always learn a good tip or two from each show, and it's a good way to stay on top of what's happening regarding cycling- whether it's American or European racing, product reviews, training tips, or upcoming cycling events.

Most informative Podcast ever!!

Simply the best Podcast out there. Though we have never met, David does an excellent job detailing current bike news, events, and new bike products. His interviews are great, and very creative with behind the scenes discussions with all the people involved in cycling: Race directors, Team managers, Team car drivers, and Mechanics. He is a gadget-guy and does excellent 'practical use' research of new products. I always listen to the Fredcast whenever a new download comes in; thus, I am more informed about the bike industry than my local bike shop guys. I wind up telling him about new gear, and new bike businesses. The website's show notes are awesome!!!
