Great show

This show and the Non Prophets are my two favorite atheist podcasts. As a former evangelical Christian I really enjoy learning about both Mormonism and the psychological aspects of faith. The guys seem really nice and their perspectives on religion and current events are greatly appreciated. Thanks for the great work, guys!

Great Podcasters

These 2 are always good to listen to. Great chemistry. Regardless of the topic its fun to hear what they have to say.

Awesome show

I’ve been listening to Jeremiah and David’s other podcast, the Game Theory Podcast, for a while now. It’s been really awesome, enough that when I first started listening I wasn’t even really into video games (I mostly enjoyed the tangents, the psychology, the literature, and the humor), but I’ve gotten back into them largely because of the show. When I heard that they had started another podcast, it was really a no-brainer. Especially since I’m also an atheist, though I don’t follow the atheist “movement” that closely.

In a lot of ways they’re preaching to the choir, at least in my case and I’d assume for most of their listeners. But that’s kind of the point. The show is educational and entertaining, but it’s not meant to “convert” or advise. It’s just two guys talking just like they would off the air, but they make it feel like everyone listening is part of the conversation. They admit up front and in the first episode that they’re not “experts” (unlike the Game Theory Podcast, where Jeremiah is literally one of the leaders in the field of how video games influence behavior). But they have interesting, thoughtful opinions on religion (and a lack thereof) and invite feedback on the topic.

They’ve got a pretty good community on the Game Theory Podcast (while I don’t post there too frequently, I do follow most of it), and hopefully this podcast kicks off in like fashion. I think there’s a lot of potential here.
