Rike Feels Like a Genuine Mentor Looking to Talk Shop as a Friend
I have only listened to the first two episodes but you can hear only honesty and genuine thoughtfulness from Rike. I've taken his Skillshare classes and find endless inspiration from his portfolio/dribbble feed. He knows what he's talking about. As a freelance designer in the music business, I'm super excited to see where this podcast goes, and I'll definitely be along for the ride. Thanks man!
Not just another design podcast
Brandon has a good thing going on here. If you're fan of Marc Maron, you get the same vibe of the overall cast. You get some great pointers and advice. As a graphic designer myself that works in a cluttered cubicle in an office this blows everything out the water. It's already helped me go to my boss and suggest changes in design and what will actually work. Keep up the awesomeness Brandon! I'll be tuning in!
Great Podcast
This is by far my favorite design podcast out there. I feel like I can relate much more to how down-to-earth Brandon is. He’s real and talks real. No BS. I like how general he speaks, while not just talking about one specific thing…like posters. I’ve listened to other design podcasts and it seems to always fall back one specific topic and it makes me feel like I can relate less. It’s great to hear other creatives out there who can relate to the struggles of others even if they don’t work in the same field. I seem to stay focused on these podcasts because it’s interesting and relevant to what I want to hear. I will defineltey be recommending this podcast to other creatives.
