Just getting off the ground, I think this cast will prove to be a winner

The hosts are already established experts in the LOTR:LCG community and have put out tons of written content on various blogs. Audio quality is generally good (though Beorn is hard to hear). A nice alternative to the lighter, news-oriented Cardboard of the Rings with more strategic crunch.

Excellent, except for one microphone...

As of episode 3, this series is really great. Not nearly as goofy as Cardboard of the Rings, but an excellent discussion of strategy. Both series make me want to run home and break out my cards. Episode 3 was particularly good, with a great discussion of deck strategies for a particular scenario.

Dan, you really, really need to reposition your microphone. Every "s" you say creates a cacophony that makes the podcast incredibly difficult to listen to. I really want to hear what you're saying, but I have to turn down the volume to keep my ears from bleeding when you talk.

Looking forward to your future episodes!

Excellent content for LOTR The Card Game

My favorite thing about this podcast is not that the content is awesome but rather the way these guys behave and run the show. These guys are adults. They are gentlemen! They act maturely, speak intelligently, and explore the rather sophisticated and subtle nuances of this great game.

I also very much appreciate how they interact with each other and compliment one another. I can't stand radio/podcasts where people are constantly interrupting and talking over one another. These guys have great radio etiquette and are a pleasure to listen to. Highly recommended.
