Ryn Melberg has a multifacets perspective having served as COO, strategic advisor and CTO, helping organizations change their business model to support growth, respond to changing market conditions, and crisis management. Worked for global leaders including but not limited to American Express, JPMorganChase, and Credit Suisse. She combines her financial acumen, operations experience and people/culture leadership skills to operationalize strategic imperatives, often complex and cross functional. Expertise in mergers and acquitions and successful integration. Change leader with experience identifying cultural obstacles and perception of threatened interests at time of change. Financial experience: P&L management including organizational expense reduction, capitalization, and funding; due diligence, mergers and acquisitions.

Operations: organizational and enterprise strategy, cultivation of business plan and execution strategy; building transparency, accountability, benchmarks and governance; maximizing IT for automation and efficiency.

People and cultural management: organization change management, development and design, span of control, performance management, compensation and incentive alignment to strategic goals.

For organizations with growth ambitions, Ryn has managed organic growth through new product development and delivery (Blue card, e-Traveler’s Cheque, professional services delivery). In addition, she has worked over 20 acquisitions and integrations. For organizations facing an economic downturn, she re-engineered a global internal investment decisioning process to improve data quality for decisions, standardize financial models, provide executive and board packets, reporting and presentations, track results and implement processes to assure investment returns were achieved. In response to changing regulations, Ryn lead initiatives to implement operational changes for Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), Home Affordability Modification Program (HAMP), Basil II, and high availability/disaster recovery (HA/DR).

At the request of Prime Access leadership, Ryn has been an engagement advisory board member, she has presented to prospects, brokered vendor relationships, and was key to Prime Access landing their first major client. Prime Access a start-up that has developed IT solutions to make websites accessible for people with a variety of disabilities.

Ryn has served on non-profit boards for over 15 years and as treasurer and/or chair of the finance committee for over 12 years on four very different non-profit boards that faced a variety of challenges, including greater-then-revenue debt, capital campaigns, funding reductions, increasing regulation, and rapid growth, in addition to the usual responsibilities of overseeing all financial, audit and compliance reporting. Most recently, Ryn is a member of two boards that changed their executive leadership and revamped their business model for growth and program expansion.
