Customer Reviews

Great Concept, technical issues

I've listened to both episodes so far, I love the format of conversations with great folks in the photography world. If you are a photographer or someone that loves hearing insider information about how photographers and others in the industry create work, you'll love this podcast. However, there are currently technical problems that left me giving up midway through the second episode. The introduction audio is beautiful and clear, the interviews are both very quiet and almost completely overwhelmed by preamp hissing from the recorder. Once the audio is recorded better it should be a fantastic podcast for all of us photographic creatives.

a joy to listen to

Quite an enjoyable podcast. Host is knowledgable about the subject matter and poses questions that propel the conversation into the very human and emotional motivations of a photographer or printmaker without neglecting the methodology or technical aspects of interest to peers in the field and hobbyists alike. Pleasant, interesting, and conversational, The Halftone is an auspicious new offering in the niche genre of photography podcasts that is as accessible to newcomers as it is to insiders.

Fantastic interviews

Audio quality improves noticeably from the first episode. Wonderful guests. Especially the people I hadn’t heard of yet. You can tell the host is passionate and knowledgeable in his own right. Keep up the great work!
