Customer Reviews

Hollywood Saloon has the inside scoop.

Andy and John are great. It's nice to hear a fresh take on hollywood that isn't all one-sided and brown nosing like on the television entertainment shows. Keep up the good work guys. I look forward to hear more of your insights. - Mick from the Captain Jolt Podcast

Knowing Hollywood Isn't Always Fun

Just because you "know your movies" doesn't mean you are entertaining. These guys are just one movie reference after another and it feels like they're really just out there to stir up listeners instead of being true to the film industry. Get out of the Hollywood Reporter and back into the real world. Start thinking for yourself.

Even Don Corleone says, "This podcast goes on and on and on..."

I'm not going to inflate this review with a bunch of positive adj like rockin, cool, excellent, even though your podcast is all these things. Rather I post this critique since I can't find a way to get the attention of Andy and John any other way. Guys, your podcast is great, but in the time you spent talking about Mission Impossible, I could have watched the whole dang movie. Seriously, split this thing into two or three parts. It's too freakin long. It's the Lawrence of Arabia of podcasts. It's epic in its scope of information, but at nearly two hours, it's just more than one sitting can handle. It's long like a cruise from New York to Alaska, the long way. Nice, classy, decent company, entertaining, but then again, so was Gone With the Wind, and I can only find the fortitude to do that once a decade. I also theorize that your subscriptions will climb if you bring it down to a digestible level. Just some thoughts from a weary traveller.
