Excellent Sports & Potpourri Podcast

I loved when Jonah Keri would appear on the old Dave Dameshek on Demand at ESPN.com. Unfortunately DOD has been cancelled. Right now I consider Jonah to be the best replacement. He talks about all sports. He always mixes in some pop culture discussion as well. I also enjoy that he is a sabermatrician and understands the difference between superficial and underlying stats. Good stuff. Hopefully we can start getting more than just one episode per week.

Enthusiasm all the way

The first thing you notice upon listening to The Jonah Keri Podcast -- after the theme music, of course -- is Keri's enthusiasm. He approaches his subject matter with gusto and brings out the best in his guests. The podcast could be about expunging dandelions from your front lawn and it would still be just as interesting. There's not much more you can ask for in a podcast.

Best Theme Song in All of Podcastdom

The Keri-cast is developing into one of my favorite podcasts. Using a long-form interview style, Jonah Keri and a growing variety of guests discuss sports, movies, pop culture, and (always) brunch. I first heard Keri on the now-retired Dameshek on Demand podcast and always found him an interesting guest. A writer for ESPN, Bloomberg Sports, the Wall Street Journal, etc, Keri is extremely knowledgeable on a wide variety of subjects that serve him well in his role as host. The first few episodes have been terrific.
