Relevant Content for Makers

I look forward to each new installment of this podcast. I, as a maker of functional pottery with interests in trends and sustainability, find Jones' conversations relevant and thought-provoking.

The recordings are raw, with occasional technical issues that can be distracting. Kinks are getting worked out and the podcast gets better with each episode.

I listen to these while working in my studio. Due to Jones' natural conversational style, I often feel as if I am eavesdropping on a discussion between friends. I have listened to several more than once.

Keep em coming.

Most relevant to fine craft artists, enjoyable for all

A ceramist or any clay enthusiast will delighted with this collection of guests but there is a lot of great content here in which anyone who enjoys a good art backstory or wants to learn about how anyone gets anywhere in an art career will enjoy these episodes.

Jones' style of interviewing is unpretentious and the guests seem to just go with his flow of questioning. I started with one episode to get the feel of it and downloaded another nine onto my ipod before the episode was over!

Among the most enjoyable podcasts within this genre.

Honest and informative

What a great resource for ceramic artists and makers out there. I find Brian's honesty refreshing and the podcast is humourous, entertaining, and informative. The relaxedf format of the interviews gives a more personal look at the artists' histories and practices. As a current graduate student, it's nice to know that there are others out there who go through periods of struggle and success. Thanks for putting yourself out there!
