Description

"The Judgment Night Radio Hour" is an audio drama and fiction anthology podcast featuring lurid, rousing tales of existential angst, metaphysical mayhem, spiritual crisis, sin, repentance, redemption, justice, and judgment. Wrought and recorded in the style of an old fire-and-brimstone AM gospel radio broadcast, this series of short stories and radio plays is hosted and narrated by the apocalyptic Reverend Reginald Cephas Weaver, III who gives soul-stirring "sermons" in the form of Southern Gothic, neo-noir dramas, thrillers, and mysteries. Southern Gothic at its best

Top notch voice acting, great music, chilling sound design. One of my new favorites.

Southern Gothic at its finest.

Beautiful, mesmerizing narration. Such a committed performance by the narrator. The stories are thought-provoking and spiritually relevant. Top notch production value. The score is also great. Definitely check it out!

TBH a little blown-away

Reverend Weaver is incredibly effective. The style and feel of everything are totally on-point. My completely personal opinion is the whole package hasn't quite coalesced into what it has the potential to be, but they have really hit on something good here and I am genuinely excited for the next episode. The feel of the world they've created is so palpable, I absolutely love it. Please keep 'em coming!!
