Join chris and Joey as they explore the dark, forgotten side of film. From horror and exploitation, to b-movies, cult, trash cinema, and everything in-between, The Last Theater on the Left shows how even the movies mainstream audiences might find worthless have value. With reviews and discussions covering films and topics within the realm of the more extreme and often dismissed side of cinema, chris and Joey illuminate the vital role these types of films play in the larger pantheon of movie history. Every movie has its audience, and every movie has value. One person's trash cinema is another persons treasure.

Chris is a true movie buff that takes an analytical but engaging approach to his reviews. Its a joy to listen to as well as informative

Full Disclosure

I am Joey and I am the co-host. I'm just here to represent, give the 5 stars and help out. I will also say that Chris' passion for movies has proven to be unmatched by anybody in my entire life and that deserves to be recognized. Check the show out, subscribe and leave a review!

For fans of all genres of movies

Joey Haynie, the man behind the excellent and long-running Rock Strikes Ten, turns his attention towards movies with his good friend & co-host Chris in this extremely entertaining & informative new podcast. Joey’s all time favorite movie is True Romance, which is also my favorite Quentin Tarantino movie (mostly because the late great Tony Scott, not Tarantino, directed it), so while I’m not all that crazy about horror movies, I do share Joey’s tastes in all other movies, so I thoroughly enjoy his and Chris’s reviews.
