Great way to Read Along!

Genius way to analyze one of the most fun books of all time - The Lord of the Rings. Each podcast takes a series of chapters from one of the trilogy, and talks about the meanings, history and miscellany from that section. And it's all chronological, so you can follow along at your own pace. I really enjoy the sense of humor and depth that the hosts bring to each episode. Five stars!

Great show!

I’m an avid listener. Lots of really good insights, especially into Lord of the Rings and the works of Tolkien. It is clear they know their stuff. Each one is an expert in a different area: Tolkien, Star Wars, Marvel, etc. The interaction between the Legendarium Braintrust is great. Lots of funny moments and great insights from everyone. I recommend it to all my friends, and they end up recommending it to theirs.

Good, but a bit bland

A pretty good show. All the hosts are knowledgeable about fantasy literature, it's conventions, and the mechanics of writing. I do wish they could find a semi-regular co-host who isn't a white guy. While all the hosts are good, the perspectives could use a bit more diversity.
