I've followed Chris' work in various settings and he's always struck me as a very significant thinker. You want to listen...regardless of the topic...because his views are considered and thoughtful. He's a focused expert in the context of being a world citizen, and it's exciting to see him launch this very unique podcast. Very interesting and well worth the listen.
An intriguing listen
This podcast reminds me a little of Invisibilia and a lot of Ripley's Believe It or Not. The host is a good storyteller and the material is fascinating. More please.
The Better Part of Discourse
Often, the most engaging conversations occur with someone who is incurably curious. The host of The Liminal is one such soul, and as he seeks to satiate his boundless curiosity, the listener is invited to join him on the journey. Chris Butler has contributed an immense amount of thoughtful analysis covering both the present and future states of digital design and marketing. He possesses (amongst many other admirable traits) a unique delivery that renders even the most complex conceptual thinking accessible to both professional and layman alike. With The Liminal, we become passengers along for the ride as Chris lets his curiosity do the driving. I find myself transported to a starlit porch under a Carolina sky, libation in hand and listening as after dinner conversation becomes an exploration without limits.
