High Signal to Noise Investment Awareness
If you are looking for stock tips, move along but if you are seeking sound advice for the long term from a level headed voice in the financial wilderness, this may become your go to podcast.
Having listen to Meb Faber on other podcasts as well as viewed his excellent "Talks at Google" video on Global Asset Allocation, I am familar with his analytical based perspective on investing but do appreciate the down-to-earth analogies related to risk management. Who would have thought the mosquito is the most dangerous creature on the planet or how that information would be relevant to better understanding the human psychology of investment.
The first episode was an introduction on his investment research while the ongoing format that Meb has started with is a combination of education, author interviews plus audience Q+A. I would suggest adding the 1st episode to your playlist as is packed full of timeless knowledge.
Finally, for a first podcast, the production recording quality is excellent.
I've been a fan of Meb for a number of years, each time I've heard Meb on other podcasts I've been impressed by his principled thought and insightful offerings on investing. Nothing different with this podcast.
Thanks for taking on this task Meb, much appreciated!
Investment strategies, quantitative &, instructional. Best!
Meb's great work will teach you how to think about investing with historical quantitative data backing up the stratagies. I read his books, they're great. He eats his own cooking with his Cambria Funds.
Thanks for all the work to help me better manage my assests Meb! Best, Don YL, CA
