So-so

I really dislike leaving negative reviews. I feel like the topics this has had to offer - at least in the episodes I've listened to - are really good. However, both of the hosts, and especially Melissa, have the habit of using "like" as a filler word, and they are using it CONSTANTLY. I understand not being able to express what you're wanting to and looking for words, but there are literally three or four "likes" per sentence on average. It's like, annoying, and I like, really find it hard to, like, listen to, because like, it's driving me crazy. I really wish I was exaggerating but some sentences are that bad. Please, ladies - practice speaking slower. It'll give you time to think about where you want to go with your sentence and you won't sound stupid. I would love to check back in a few months and find this is just great information!

I wanted to like it...

But I can’t get past the childish vocabulary. There are nuggets in there of good advice but they are clouded by the overuse of “really, really” “totally” and “like.” It’s so disappointing. There are cell phones buzzing in the background and it’s distracting. I think you have a great perspective since most if the minimalist shows are hosted by men but this is lacking a level of professionalism that makes it hard to want to come back and listen again.

Lovely and Enlightening

I have been thriving listening to this podcast! I can relate so much to the things Jess and Melissa discuss, as well as to them as individuals. I'm female, mid-20's, and interested in living my best life. Their perspectives are enlightening and I love the friendship they share. It's so fun to listen to their deep philosophical discussions and well as be "in" on some of their inside jokes. It's a delight to listen to and I look forward to each new week of the podcast!
