Quantum butterfly? More like Quantum MOTH...
The "Quantum Butterfly" is said to change the weather around the world with each flap of its wings. This is the "Quantum MOTH"- these people are flapping like hell, and they just might change the world! Caught "The Moth" live in Atlanta last summer and was surprised by a real sense of magic in the theatre that night, and that sense is every bit present in these podcasts. Entertaining, amusing, compelling, disturbing, upsetting... affecting, most of all. These are the stories of real people, they are real stories, and hearing them reminds me again and again how amazing it is that we are all here on this planet. Hear these stories, see a live performance someday, and spread the word. We're all here together, folks... These are OUR stories, and The Moth is telling them!
This is one of my favorite podcasts. I drive a lot to and from school, and Im a big fan of talk/news radio. This however blows my mind. Its very well done. Short stories that are well told on a number of different subjects. I havent heard one yet that I didnt enjoy. Very funny and very entertaining. I only wish that I had discovered this earlier.
These podcasts are absolutely fantastic. Powerful stories told in front of a captive audience, pulling your heart strings and making you laugh outloud. I've gotten a lot of strange looks from passerbys as I laugh and sniffle at these stories. So happy they've put this together, now more stories please!
