Since its launch in 1997, The Moth has presented thousands of true stories, told live and without notes, to standing-room-only crowds worldwide. Moth storytellers stand alone, under a spotlight, with only a microphone and a roomful of strangers. The storyteller and the audience embark on a high-wire act of shared experience which is both terrifying and exhilarating. Since 2008, The Moth podcast has featured many of our favorite stories told live on Moth stages around the country. For information on all of our programs and live events, visit themoth.org.

Love the Moth!
This is a dream come true--I hardly ever have a chance to go to the Moth shows in NYC, so it's a treat to get them delivered right to me. The stories are always compelling, sometimes bizarre. And I often learn about some odd job or perspective...or at least laugh my butt off.
Excellent, compelling stories. Very entertaining!
I kept hearing about The Moth from friends, people at my school, and then on this American Life. After listening to this and a few of their CDs I can honestly say that they live up to their hype. From funny to poignant, you'll get just about everything you could ask from a story. Check it out!
Great job Moth!
