Description

This show tells the stories of the children and their parents who find themselves in that one in a thousand, or one in ten thousand, or even one in a million position of having a child with special needs and how they come to cope. Finding those odds apply to you and your child can be one of the most isolating and terrifying experiences of your life. But then sometimes it can also feel like winning the lottery.

Looking forward to more

Tessa speaks with an honesty that is rare in this world and her willingness to share the whole story, good, bad, and ugly; is inspiring. I look forward to listening as she brings not just her and Eva’s story, but also the stories of parents around the world who have found themselves on the short side of long odds. It’s a frightening and isolating place to be, but The One in a Million Baby podcast will surely make it a little less so.

Like a Big Hug

This podcast, like the blog that started it all, is raw and honest and affirming. It holds no pretenses, just tells it like it is which also means telling you it's probably going to be okay. Thank you for doing this!

Beautiful!

Tessa tells her story in such a raw and beautiful way. Through her blog, she has brought attention to how wonderful and difficult life with a special needs child can be. I can't wait to hear more about her and see her give other parents and children the platform to tell their stories as well!
