A common man who has experience in an extremely uncommon professional athlete lifestyle is a beautiful concoction of hilarity for the average Joe. Both relatable and ridiculous, "The Pat McAfee Show" promises to inform, intrigue, and entertain. Thanks for listening. Cheers

The Greatest Podcast in History

These guys have created something absolutely beautiful and electric out in Indianapolis, INDIAANNNAAA. The content has somehow elevated to a new level now that they are an independent entity. The Pat McAfee Show 2.0 and Heartland Radio 2.0 are the only podcasts you’ll ever need to listen to ever. You can thank me later. @tyschmit, hit the goddamn music.

Used to be good...

When McAfee first joined Barstool, I was an avid listener. As a long time Colts fan, I was excited to hear Pat’s takes and stories from the NFL.

But as the show has gone on, I’ve started to really dislike it. Here are my 2 main reasons why:

1) Pat’s once interesting stories are now getting very repetitive. You can only tell so many NFL stories before you run out, and Pat ran out of stories months ago.

2) When Vibbs left, so did almost all other input from “the guys”. The other guys have no real interesting takes or really any input whatsoever. This show is now 95% Pat talking at the viewers, with his friends serving as a real life laugh track. It kind of feels like they have to laugh even if they don’t think it’s funny, and it just feels awkward.

3) The ad reads are obnoxious. I don’t wanna hear about my bookie ag for 10 minutes straight. Just take a break, read the ad in one minute, and move along.

On the other hand, I do still listen occasionally because the guests are pretty solid and I do still enjoy the interviews that Pat does. This show could be good but it just doesn’t do it for me anymore. Best of luck to Pat, hope he finds what he’s looking for.

Bigger stool fan than mcafee fan but they will crumble without Pat on the crew
