From the producers of The Protoculture Times, a new Robotech journey begins! Robotech: The McKinney Project is a celebration of the novels based off the animated series and that were written written by NY Times Best Selling Star Wars Authors Brian Daley and James Luceno. As \"Jack McKinney,\" Brian and Jim took Robotech beyond television with 21 novels. And even after 25 years since their publication they are still the only medium in the Robotech franchise to give the saga a conclusion....of sorts! Your host JT helps tell the story of Robotech through McKinney\'s words and delves into the different concepts exclusive to the novels along with its connections to other aspects of Robotech. And of course, celebrating the authors themselves! No matter what the future holds for the franchise, one thing is certain....The Jack McKinney legacy was, is and ALWAYS will be.....ROBOTECH\'S LEGACY! robotech, macross, star wars, mecha, science fiction, scifi, brian daley, james luceno, robotech novels, robots, aliens

Fun stuff from a very excited host

This JT guy is that guy you never give any sugar or caffeine to, at any time, for any reason. This guy is beyond excited to share his love of podcasting in general, and Robotech specifically. If you were are are a fan of the old Robotech manga and cartoons, you will find a kindred spirit here. Lots of facts I never knew about Robotech in general and the novels specifically.

Warning - the host JT gets super excited way too often and screams into his mike a bit too much. That being said, he does give you fair warning that he is a loud guy.

All and all, a fun experience.

Infectiously fun Podcast on Robotech and Sci Fi!

I am late to the party that is JT and his Protoculture Times and now McKinney Project. I love his enthusiasm and how he relates his Robotech canon and that there is no ROBOTECH GOSPEL! Love it. Very fun to listen too!

Great Show!

Informative, funny, and engrossing. It speaks to the kid in you without insulting the intelligence of the adult in you.
