Great to finally hear some skeptcism out of Texas!

These guys mix humor with some healthy critical thinking & are fun to listen to ...

I'm glad to finally hear some skepticism out of Texas, this state is such a red state with religion so very ingrained.
I am glad to know I am not alone as a critical thinker in the South.

I love hearing Skeptical Texans.

I no longer live in TX, but when I did I was a dyed-in-the-wool bible thumper. It's a great resource to hear about skeptical activism in the heart of TX. However, I have 2 complaints: 1) They could use better mics & post-production, but I don't mind too much given that they're still new to the game. 2) THEY NEED TO QUIT TALKING OVER EACH OTHER. All the people on the show are smart & relatively funny, but you can't understand them because they never learned how to take turns talking. Keep up the quality discussions, just quit talking all at once.

I have finally listened to all 21 episodes....and I am addicted. I am really a fan of the fast moving, humor infused banter shared by everyone on the podcast. I find the mixture of science, religion, and logis refreshing and a bit liberating. I must admit that I live vicariously through the cast (since I am a science teacher in the bible belt that has to watch what I say and surpress many of my true feelings for fear of losing my job - although I always make sure to teach EVOLUTION and never mention creation theory). Keep up the great work.
