good stuff

im proud of you gary

a total geek out with your homie experience

If you’re a designer (any discipline) you’ve probably had this experience before. You’re in a conversation with another designer and the subject matter is 1) completely random and 2) super dorky to any non-designers around. If you have, then you’ll totally relate to StudioDork. It’s like an hour long conversation with another “creative” you just met in an airport lounge, after which you feel totally amped and completely tapped out (in a good way). You can get more technical advice from other podcasts. You can get sounder business advice from other podcasts. But you’ll feel like you just bonded with a design bro after an hour or so of StudioDork. You will like it because even if you don’t want to acknowledge it, you’re a dork too. Word.

Geeky for everyone

So I'm not a tech savvy person but it's nice to hear what's coming out and actually learning new things about my iPhone. Personal content sometimes runs over my head since I don't know the background info but being able to hear about technology used in real life applications is a nice break from demos and convention showings that don't apply to your own life. Also the love for not only apple products but anything with interesting content or upgrades is refreshing. I find myself checking out apps and programs talked about in different episodes.
