Incredible show

James Ellis is BRILLIANT when it comes to leveraging content to recruit talent. If you want to attract the best talent, this is a must-listen.

Buzzword-free recruiting strategies

James tackles traditional (and trendy) recruiting strategies, does the hard work of breaking them down into tactical and actionable pieces of advice that you can truly act on at the end of the episode. The best part, for me, is that he does it all without sounding like a buzzword bingo caller.

His insights into the mind of a hiring manager are spot-on, and he does a great job of helping close the language barrier between recruiters and managers so both can see/hear each other better and be more productive as a team.

Thoughtful employment branding content

I recently discovered this podcast and already it's been very helpful. James Ellis is witty, experienced, insightful and willing to answer YOUR questions. Episode 022 is my fault. Only potential drawback is that, as he readily admits, it's not scripted so sometimes you get some stream of consciousness detours. If you're good with that then it's fun. But as these average about 40 minutes don't expect a quick answer podcast. All in all I'm glad I discovered and I'll definitely keep listening!
