In 1992, Colorado voters took away politicians' ability to raise taxes. This is the strange and sometimes unbelievable story of how a man named Douglas Bruce convinced them to do that -- and what's happened since. Reported and hosted by Rachel Estabrook, Ben Markus and Nathaniel Minor from Colorado Public Radio News.

Lively and informative
Just heard the first episode of The Taxman. So informative and so interesting. Lively production that kept me intrigued for the entire 38 minutes.
Taxman is a great listen
Quite an interesting story presented with an excellent narration incorporating interviews with many of the primary players in the creation and implementation of the Taxpayor Bill of Rights. I highly recommend it.
Two Thumbs Up
A helpful and very enjoyable debrief of TABOR. Thank you for breaking down the complex law so I can finally understand where, how and why it came to be. Interesting stuff! Looking forward to the next episode.
