Shamanic Voyaging: Experience the Magick

Each Telling I have witnessed is a lifetime that’s happening, unfolding before the audience and where our dreams, memories and experiences are collectively woven into the live performance itself. More times than I can count on my fingers and toes, I have witnessed men, women and children rush to the stage after Koyote’s Telling performances in awe, shouting with surprise over how part of the story was about their own lives.

There seems to be an independent power The Telling holds—it’s sort of like a beautiful, wondrous beast throbbing with mysteries that want to be told, as if it’s yearning to experience the audience’s laughter and tears; wanting to feel their sadness, joy, suspense and hope. For about an hour the Telling becomes us, weaving in and out of our individual lives to create a tapestry full of color and shape, shining its soulful presence through the artist, hablador Koyote.

The Telling is ancient yet familiar; it’s magic and alchemy and it takes the dirt you carry inside of you in secrecy and somehow turns it into gold, leaving you with a shiny nugget that brightens the spirit and expands the heart. The Telling is a bridge between the waking and dreaming worlds, the light and dark, and the audience and hablador. The Telling isn’t just a story that is being told, it’s something just as real as your life unfolding drawing the essence and soul to the forefront. The Telling is an act of High Magick that leaves the open mind and open heart purified and evolved. To witness a Telling is to see a soul being born. It’s something that one can only recognize when dreams and life become indistinguishable.

A True Voyage

I have listed to the telling live and the recordings and every time I voyage somewhere familiar and somehow new. I was lucky enough to be present at Koyote's first telling at the convention in Grass Valley, California held by the Instatute for the developement for the harmonious human being. I wish I could listen to that first telling because I am sure that I could relive that moment again as I hear his voice, his words, and the vibrations will resinate within me. I will hear the ancient and familiar story as I do when I hear his tellings live or in a recording.

Expanding and Moving

Koyote is a true master in the art of spoken word. The Telling is a journey through his poetic langue as waves of expansion & contraction are radiated towards the individual.

The crafting and presence of his langue allows one to experience the point of view as being told by Koyote with was ease and poise.

It was a feeling of standing alone at the worlds end with no one except your echoes of experience to mimicry the emotions that are swelling inside. That swelling feels like the infinite reaching out to kiss you sweetly to a state of relaxation and ecstasy.

I have looked forward to every episode and will continue to do so earnestly
