Critical analysis of each episode of AMC's "Breaking Bad" by Robin Pierson (The TV Critic)

Good stuff

Loved his LOST podcast; happy to see him now focussing on Breaking Bad.

Healthy dose of criticism

Quite possibly the best of the breaking bad podcast lot. Refreshing to hear some legitimate criticism of the show when deserved instead of the more typical fanboy approach to casting. Innovative format deviates from the scene by scene recapping standard. The British accent is a bonus and makes you feel smarter for listening.

This Is A Terrible Review & Scoring System

It’s been a few years since listening to this TV Critic guy when he did the Lost podcasts. After a disappointed experience then I thought I'd give him a chance with the Breaking Bad podcast and I have to say I'm just as disappointed especially in his arbitrary not useful review system. How can you be taken serious when you don’t have a universal rating system so a good score is a good score regardless of the show? The whole 60-70 is good but reserving higher scores for better is nonsense, use 90+ for good scores like normal people. He's acting as contrarian in the likes of Armond White who reviews films and is essentially the opposite of what most people would think are good. Overall I would say just ignore this guy and his podcast. It made sense to some degree to criticize other shows but Breaking Bad is as flawless of a show as we have. If you need more justification this guy is absurd, he likes Buffy and Friends. Ya okay, two horrendous shows so he definitely doesn’t know what good television is, just trying to get attention.
