The unCorked Podcast is hosted by Melissa Corkum blogger at the Cork Board Blog. This is the unCorked podcast--conversations with everyday extraordinary people. People who have conquered, people making a difference, people with opinions and hearts. Brave and beautiful people, but people who, in the end, are just like you and me. If there's one thing Melissa's learned over the past 10 years, it's how much she didn't know that she didn't know. Her family's experiences in adoption and loving kids who have aged out of foster care, living in the country but owning a coffee shop in the city, and traveling internationally have greatly expanded our horizons, shifted her paradigms, and hopefully made u them better humans. The one common theme through all of those experiences was listening to people's stories. Patti Digh once said, "The shortest distance between two people is a story." So pull up a chair and an open mind and meet another one of her everyday extraordinary friends.
