The WoTchers Podcast is made up of three friends who happen to be writers and fans of fantasy. After numerous conversations about their love of the genre, they decided that it would be fun to read some classic epic fantasy together and talk about it. Never ones to shy away from a vigorous discussion, these three authors are guaranteed to bring unique commentary and perspective you won’t get anywhere else. After they finish the entire Wheel of Time series, who knows where they might go next. This is not your typical fan podcast. Buckle up and hang on.

Started me reading the series again

As soon as I heard what Josh, Hank, and Jamie were doing with the series, I started listening to the books again. I really enjoyed the Wheel of Time series up to book eight were I became sidetracked with other books and whatnot. It isn't my favorite fantasy series, but is a favorite fantasy series of mine (if that makes sense). Anyway, I hope they keep it up and there is a lot of useful dicussion about writing and the genre in general.

Big fan of WoT, neat to hear new reader’s views

I like hearing honest views about this series. I do think you all WILL want to read it again. Long time fan of this series (have read the entire series 4 times), but some books (first 5 books over 10 times) many times more.

Love the veggie talk.

Reviews are great (both 1 stars and 5 stars).

Not your typical WoT podcast

This podcast stands out for two big reasons. First, the hosts are all published writers who want to find out why people love the Wheel of Time. Second, none of them have finished the series yet. While I find their observations interesting, there are a few assumption they bring with them to the story that seem to have shaped their preconceptions, and that impacts their opinions of the story. Especially in. Ok one where they equate Orcs to Trollocks, and imaged them as the same thing when they are not. It’s also really fun to watch them make predictions that are sooooo not even close to what happens. But it is a new perspective, and it makes me remember what it was like my first time through the books. I recommend this for any WoT fan.
