Zack Moore is the author of the book “Caponomics: Building Super Bowl Champions,” which was released in January 2018. It offers insight into how teams use data and analytics to create sustainable, competitive teams that compete for championships. Zack proposes theories and a blueprint for how teams might consider spending their cap dollars based on analysis of the first 23 cap-era Super Bowl champion teams (1994-2016). This podcast is an extension of that book and will explore these theories and ideas in practice around the NFL. We will explore the moves that teams make, the moves they might make, and the path they can explore towards being a championship caliber team. We will cover current NFL news from the financial perspective of what the move means from a salary cap standpoint.
Zack also writes for OverTheCap.com, which is used by all 32 NFL teams as a research tool for their salary cap department as well as writers and informed fans.
This podcast will also explore the sports of Jiu Jitsu and MMA through the guests who enter the doors of 10th Planet Austin at Onnit Gym MMA.

Most overlooked aspect of winning football
