Not just for horror

This is a great podcast no matter what genre you write. Very good advice on writing style, habits, and on self publishing.

Not at all horrible—charming and helpful, in fact

Horror writer J. Thorn offers plenty of concisely formatted information and guidance for authors of ANY genre. His focus is mostly on gaining visibility and promotion. He wastes no time on social gibbering, and the podcast is one you’d share with friends and family. In other words, nothing stupid, no profanity, no embarrassing innuendo. Good audio, pleasing voice. Intro/outro music is hard rock, but not shrill, overloud, or overlong. In other words, there is no reason NOT to enjoy this podcast.

Thorn knows a lot about writing, writers, and getting your words out there, and he shares it in a way that is gracious and helpful. He’s also coherent and well-spoken. Those are good traits in an author as well as in a podcaster.

Yeah. I like this podcast.

All good

I have been a fan of this podcast in all its iterations, from J. only to Richard to Zach. I find the advice invaluable and the debates on all things horror are great!
