Customer Reviews

Should be national!

This show is so entertaining! I wish I could share it with my friends around the country, but they might not "get it" with the local Charlotte topics.

Fun & Informative

Keith brings new life to politics, sports, and news. Love how his wife if around to bring an extra chuckle every day! He has great guests/friends of the show! Love how he shines the spotlight on local children's charities. Great 2 hours to make my carpool ride, in horrible Charlotte traffic, fun again.

Entertaining, Smart, with a healthy dose of idiocy

This show is smart, often cutting political commentary. I don't think it follows a party line, both Republicans and Democrats are "poked" when it's deserved. The thing that sets the show apart from other political podcasts is the fun. This show isn't stuck on politics. Sports, animal stories (lots of monkeys for some reason), and many friends of the show are prominently featured. Things are never boring or formulaic.

The most powerful stories, by far, are the conversations that feature families of kids facing difficult circumstances. Keith has a way of bringing those families in to the light in a way that's deeply moving. You're not invited to pedestal or pity these kids who are facing enormous challenges. You're simply invited to meet them, to know them, and to care about them. It's very real, very intimate, and very powerful.

I never miss a podcast because I know each one is unique. One show you'll laugh till you cry, another you might simply cry, and still another you'll be yelling at the show or the guest because you disagree. There's lots of great music and great fun. In short, it's gold.
