How Do You Know What You Know? Where Do You Go for Truth?

Michael dons his red shirt to address the issue of how we know what we know. There are multiple sources of theology in every person's life, the differences are in the priorities we give them. In addition to the Bible, Michael talks about culture, also known as tradition; what your parents taught you; reason, or rationality; experience; emotions. What is the Stage of Truth, and how should these various actors in our lives be arranged so we can properly comprehend truth? In the end, not only does Michael survive, completely throwing out the theory that red shirts always die, but he very clearly describes how we arrive at our authority for truth.

Calvinist to the core

If you want a one-sided, weak defense for Calvinism, check in here. Other theological topics are distorted in the light of this doctrine.

Same ol’ Anti-Gay, Anti-Catholic, Anti-Science, Anti-Woman, Hateful Calvinistic Trope

Trash theology! it is the same old ridiculous screed we’ve heard before. The name of the podcast is totally a misnomer… It is not “unplugged” at all! This podcast is very much plugged into Calvin’s institutes, and all the other hateful Calvinistic ultra TULIP ideas. It is very much plugged into social conservativism, and is just a theological soapbox for the Republican MAGA Party.

It’s been a long time coming!!!

Michael is a gifted teacher and has been a major influence in my theological development over the years. I’ve been a fan of the show since it’s inception and am beyond happy to be listening to new episodes again.
