Customer Reviews

Sean knows his stuff. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite podcasts. I am confident that this will quickly become a wise, humorous, practical, and insightful combination of narrative, interviews, and just enough meandering stream of consciousness. Looking forward to seeing how this podcast develops! Thanks, Sean!

Excellence Unfolding

It is a refreshing break from the usual fundraising paradigms and tired recommendations on how to raise money for Catholic and secular causes. Sean brings a new and passionate approach to this critical work. Having started out in the trenches and worked his way through some of the most significant Catholic organizations in the country, he is spot on in his commentary. I will be looking forward to future podcast episodes as he tackles the myriad challenges facing Catholic and secular institutions in the present era.

Professional development for fundraisers on the go

After listening to the first two episodes, I am looking forward to more episodes being published. It will be interesting to see who will be interviewed on the Philanthropy Podcast and to hear their stories of why they do this work. As the executive director of a small nonprofit, I will be grateful for the opportunity to listen in on these conversations. Sean was also spot-on when he said there are a lot of small shops without resources to invest in professional development for fundraisers. As the only employee of my organization, I can definitely see myself listening to this as I travel between board meetings and meeting with donors. Thanks Sean!
