good for the brain

For many if not all podcast creators, this format serves a as regular reflective practice, which leaves a trackable record of the passage of time as well as the evolution of the author's weltanschauung (world view). It is a tool of self-monitoring and a dialogue with the larger trajectory of one's life. As all great podcasts - or the podcasts which I find helpful and not merely entertaining - TT offers to the listener the wisdom, guidance and inspiration to which the author has committed his own time and efforts. In supporting Tinkered Thinking, even if you are an occasional listener or simply send in a donation, you are supporting an intellectual resource committed to using the podcast form as a life-building tool.

Thoughtful, inquisitive, insightful

Tinkered thinking asks the questions I only think about in my most thoughtful moments. It has allows me to dive deeper into a train of thought, and reminds me to focus on one thought at a time to see how far I can go to solve a problem. In a world of noise and chaos, tinkered thinking is the antidote. This podcast has help me build a strong, quiet mind in a few minutes at a time. Highly recommend.

Thought provoking

I find this podcast challenging myself to think of any episode presented from a different perspective. It isn’t critical of any one’s viewpoint, but looks to expand your own.
The podcasts are short, concise and informative. I have gone so far as to share them with others whom I think would benefit including with my own work force.
I liken them to TED Talks, but not as long. Worthy of your time listening to Tinkered Thinking!
