Customer Reviews

Poignant words

Passenger letters written on board the Titanic, starting from the day she left port. Gives an insider's glimpse of the voyage from widely varying perspectives: first class passengers to crew members working in the saloon and below decks. The letters are deeply moving as they convey the last days of each writer's life. They were going about their lives, just as you and I are now, assuming life will go on; business as usual. The fate of each writer is also reported.
