In Feb 2018, an aspiring actress vanished from her Hollywood apartment. Rolling Stone journalist Neil Strauss was asked to help the family get answers. Together, they found them...sometimes at great personal risk. For the first time in a serial podcast, go inside a gripping multi-state investigation as it unfolds from the moment of the disappearance to each twist and turn in the case. Stay not only more informed than the news, but listen as the official story is dismantled with in-the-moment first-hand reporting with the leading figures in the investigation. The new #1 podcast from the team behind Up & Vanished and Atlanta Monster.

Still at the edge of my seat

I stumbled across this podcast and I’m glad I did. This will leave you at the edge of your seat...and please do yourself the favor and not google ahead, you’ll be glad you didn’t.

Neil seems completely biased and inept in his coverage of this story. At times you can hear the frustration in his private investigator’s voice, because Neil stammers like a hyperactive child trying to decide who to call or what to do. Not to mention that Adea sounded like a total nut job, yet her insane behavior is played down while Chris is completely vilified. Adea knew Chris for only 4 months prior to her disappearance, but latched onto Chris like a leech from the start. Weak story to try to get to the bottom of...a cheating fiancé and a tramp.

Well done!

Sad story but great story telling. Well presented, great pace and kept me interested and wanting more.
